Telling Lies

In a world full of mystery im doing my part

I say I'm finished when I've yet to start

I carefully elect what I choose to submit

Because this life and me aren't a good fit

In the days before a lifetime of payments,

When I could've wielded steel, and the earth lacked pavement

I may have rose above my birth born status

Through the honor and grit with which I donned this plated apparatus

Scanning the battlefield for any shift of change

Maybe I could've got good use of this sensory oriented brain

But now I'm, telling lies to passing eyes

I was back in 2020 upon the sunrise
